Kids experience bumps, tumbles, and rapid growth, all of which can sometimes cause small misalignments in their spines (called subluxations). Is chiropractic care safe for children?
Yes! Paediatric chiropractic care uses very gentle, specific techniques tailored to a child’s size, age, and development. Adjustments for infants and young kids are much lighter than those for adults — often using no more pressure than you would use to check the ripeness of a tomato.

 

When should my child see a chiropractor?
Many parents bring their babies for a checkup shortly after birth, especially after a difficult delivery. Others bring toddlers learning to walk (and fall!), kids who play sports, or children experiencing frequent illnesses, posture problems, or simply as part of their family’s wellness routine.
